Oppo Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro Features and Price

The OPPO Reno 3 and OPPO Reno 3 Pro are now official. As expected, they remain one step away from the high end of the market as the Chinese manufacturer must submit in a few months a bet with the Snapdragon 865 to govern its market. Here we have triple and quad cameras, fast loads for everyone and much more. We tell you what each of the models offers us.

Oppo Reno 3

We start with the OPPO Reno 3, a phone that arrives with an OLED panel of some kind (fingerprint reader under the screen) and a diagonal of 6.4 inches. The resolution is FullHD + that with its 20: 9 ratio offers us 2,400 x 1,080 pixels in this device.

Under the hood, a next-generation MediaTek 1000L that offers, among other things, 5G connectivity to the device that OPPO converts to dual SIM card slot. As for the memories, we have only 128GB of storage but we can opt for 8GB of RAM or 12GB of RAM. Without microSD in either case.

The camera consists of a quad rear with 64 megapixels f / 1.8 in front, 8 megapixels for photographs with a super wide-angle lens, 2 megapixels for depth readings and 2 megapixels for black and white or monochrome photography. And on the front, located on the phone notch, 32 megapixels with f / 2.4 lens.

The battery of this phone is 4,025 mAh and arrives with fast charging VOOC Flash 4.0, which means that we will have a maximum of 30W. In connectivity, the Dual 5G that we mentioned before in addition to WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC chip for mobile payments and USB Type-C port for charging.

  • 6.4 inch AMOLED display and Full HD + resolution
  • Drop-notch 2.5D glass panel with 20: 9 aspect ratio

  • 2 MP depth data sensor

Oppo Reno 3 Pro

Greater in power and size, because here we run into a 6.5-inch AMOLED panel, FullHD + at 2,400 x 1,080 pixels and that also cools at a speed of 90Hz. Not bad for a perforated panel in the upper right corner with a hole in which to hide the front chamber.

We said it was more powerful and that is that we find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G for gaming based on two variants of the phone. We have 8GB and 128GB on the one hand and 12GB and 256GB on the other. As in Reno 3, we don't have a microSD card tray here. The phone memory is the one there is.

In cameras, we gain zoom in the back. Here the main sensor is 48 megapixels instead of 64 megapixels but they repeat the super wide-angle lens with an 8-megapixel sensor and the 2-megapixel camera for black and white photographs. What we have are 13 extra megapixels with 2x optical zoom (and 5X hybrid) instead of the 2 megapixels for Reno3 depth. And for the front, 32 megapixels with f / 2.4 lens.

Tie in connectivity and battery for both phones. The Reno 3 Pro also offers Dual 5G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C port, in addition to 4,025 mAh with 30W fast charging. As in the case of Reno 3, the fingerprint reader is also under the screen.

  • 6.5 inch AMOLED display and Full HD + resolution
  • 3D glass panel with drop notch and 20: 9 aspect ratio
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G Chipset with 5G Modem
  • 8 GB and 12 GB RAM
