Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus Launched with Triple Rear Camera, Exynos 9825 SoC and New S Pen

The company unveiled its new flagship in New York. U.S. A pure mobile screen, with improvements to the camera and the S Pen

Samsung introduced the Galaxy Note10, its new flagship. The smartphone comes in two sizes: a smaller version with a 6.3-inch display and the Note10 +, 6.8 inches. And in both sizes, there is a version for LTE and another for 5G.

The screen, edge to edge, which the company dubbed "Cinematic Infinity" has almost no bevel. Like the S10 it has a small slit in the screen for the front camera, but unlike that model, it is centered and not to the side.

The screen, Dynamic Amoled, has HDR10 + and Dynamic Tone Mapping certification, which, according to the company, the photos and videos are brighter than in the previous Note. In turn, it reduces blue light without affecting the color quality to provide comfortable viewing.

The most outstanding features

The camera is one of the highlights of this team, a worldwide trend that all companies echo.
The two models have a triple rear camera with the following lenses:

  1. Ultra-Wide: 16 MP, F / 2.2 (123 °)
  2. Wide-angle: 12 MP, 2 PD, F1.5 AF / F2.4 OIS (77 °)
  3. Telephoto: 12 MP, F / 2.1 OIS (45 °)

The Note 10+ also adds the DepthVision Camera: VGA. And both models have a 10 MP front camera, F2.2 (80 °).

The Live Focus Video adds depth of field settings so you can blur the background to highlight your subject, and the Zoom In Mic amplifies the audio in the frame and removes background noise to help you focus on the sounds you want.

Also, the Super Steady function was optimized, which stabilizes the recording to prevent videos from moving. Now it is also available in Hyperlapse mode, that is, for videos with a fast camera.

Video editing:

The video editing tool (Video Editor) can be used with the S Pen, so instead of having to touch to select or edit a clip, users can choose the precise moment they want to crop.
In turn, Adobe Rush on the Galaxy Note10 offers added many more editing tools, which can also be used with the S Pen.

To record the screen:

Galaxy Note10 incorporates an option to record the screen (Screen Recorder). That way, you can capture everything you see on the display and even make notes, with the S Pen, while recording.

Night mode:

The Night Mode, now available on the front camera, allows users to capture crisp selfies even when there is no good lighting.

AR Doodle and 3D scanner:

The smartphone integrates augmented reality and 3D resources in the camera. With AR Doodle, you can use the S Pen to customize photos with dynamic drawings, effects, and animations that follow the image; and with 3D Scanner, the Galaxy Note10 + DepthVision camera can scan an object and instantly convert it into a mobile 3D rendering.

The Pen S Pen had a redesign, and update :

Now, users can take notes, instantly convert their writing to digital text in Samsung Notes and export it to a variety of different formats, including Microsoft Word.

There are also customization options that allow you to change the color of the text or, with a few touches, format and share the created text. Besides, the S Pen adds Air actions, allowing you to control certain aspects of the device through gestures.

Samsung DeX for PC :

With a simple and compatible USB connection, users can drag and drop files between devices and use their favorite mobile applications with a mouse and keyboard.

Link to Windows:

The Note Note10 integrates Link to Windows directly into the Quick Panel. Thus, users can connect to their Windows 10 PC with one click.

It has wireless reverse charging that allows charging other devices just by supporting them on the mobile.

Other specifications

The Note 10 has an eight-core, 7-nanometer processor (Max 2.7 GHz + 2.4 GHz + 1.9 GHz). The LTE base version integrates 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage, and in the 5G version, they are 12 GB with the same storage capacity.

The Note 10+ is 12 GB of RAM with 256 GB or 512 GB of internal storage. The LTE version comes with dual SIM, both in Note 10 and Note +.

The battery is 3,500 mAh and 4,300 mAh, depending on the model and offers fast charging with only 30 minutes of charging, the Note 10 + lasts all day with a cable charging capacity of up to 45 W.

It offers reverse wireless charging, just like the S10, so users can wirelessly recharge their Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Buds or another Qi-enabled device with the Galaxy Note 10.

Newly designed for video game players:

The use of video games requires hardware optimized for this level of demand. In this sense, the Galaxy Note 10 presents the world's thinnest steam chamber cooling system, according to the company.

With AI-based Game Booster, the Galaxy Note 10 optimizes performance and power consumption according to the game. And with the P2P Play Galaxy Link streaming service, users can resume any PC game and continue playing without the need for local storage.

Designed for LTE and 5G:

With the LTE and 5G options, Note10 users can take full advantage of the faster speeds of their operators. "Galaxy Note10 + 5G harnesses the full power of the next-generation network to stream high-resolution video, download content very quickly and stream games with many graphics in real-time," said the statement released by the company.

It should be clarified that to take advantage of the benefits of 5G, you have that technology-enabled, something that depends on the operators, local networks and many other issues. As is known, 5G has just begun to land in South Korea, some regions of the United States and Australia. There was limited evidence in Latin America but it still did not arrive massively and commercially.

Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10 + will be available in three colors that the company named Aura Glow, Aura White and Aura Black from August 23, in some countries.
As for connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac / ax (2.4 / 5 GHz); Bluetooth v 5.0, ANT + and NFC. It integrates USB Type C and ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which is hidden under the screen, just like in the S10 family. And it doesn't come with Jack audio jack.

Price and availability

The Note 10 costs USD 949 and the Note 10+ will be offered at USD 1,099 in its 12GB RAM / 256GB configuration. For USD 100 you can purchase the 512 GB version. The equipment can be ordered from today in the United States, South Korea, and some other regions. Deliveries will begin on August 23. The 5G version, for the moment, will be offered on a limited basis to Verizon users in the United States.
