Samsung Galaxy A50s Comes 48 MP Rear Camera and 32 MP Front Camera

Samsung has introduced the Samsung Galaxy A50s by surprise. The company's best-selling mobile phone in Europe during 2019 is renewed with improvements in the camera and design. The Galaxy A50 is one of the most recommended mid-range on the market, much more now that it has dropped considerably in price. Samsung has not wanted to miss the opportunity and has renewed the device with some interesting improvements. There are no changes in performance or storage but in the design and quality of your cameras. Samsung has implemented its new 48-megapixel sensor that is also used by Xiaomi and Realme mobiles.

When Samsung presented the Galaxy A50 at the MWC in Barcelona we were somewhat surprised at the change it made in the mid-range. The company has made a very important leap in 2019 with these devices and the result is seen in sales. Its Galaxy A series has sold 12 million units in Europe in the second quarter of the year.

The new Galaxy A50s: features and design

The new Samsung Galaxy A50s does not radically change the design, but it does leave us with a pattern on the back. The company has chosen to give it a more distinctive touch and not leave a colored plastic back cover. Now the prisms give a much more premium touch to the design without making the device more expensive. This is the first big change, although not the only one.

  • 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display in FullHD + resolution
  • Exynos 9610 processor
  • 4 or 6 GB of RAM
  • 64 or 128 GB of internal storage
  • 48 + 8 + 5 megapixel rear camera
  • 32-megapixel rear camera
  • Plastic body
  • USB C, 3.5 mm jack and fingerprint sensor on the screen
  • 4,000 mAh battery with fast charge (15W)
  • Android 9 Pie
Most features remain concerning the Galaxy A50 and we only see two improvements in the new model the rear camera and the front camera
The device goes from a 25 + 8 + 5 camera to a 48 + 8 + 5 megapixel camera on the back. The improvement in this configuration is in charge of the main sensor, which is now 48 megapixels with an f / 2.0 aperture. The 8-megapixel sensor is still a wide-angle.

The front camera also improves substantially from 25 to 32 megapixels. The quality is expected to increase, although the Galaxy A50's camera was already one of the best in the mid-range. The rest of the features are maintained, so the changes are summarized in new design and a new camera.

Price and availability of the Samsung Galaxy A50s

Samsung has just officially announced these devices but has not yet revealed details about its sale or price. The company may want to keep the PVPr of the Galaxy A50, so this Samsung Galaxy A50s could sell for 349 euros in its launch campaign.

Just wait a bit because most likely Samsung will announce these details about the Samsung Galaxy A50s during the IFA fair in Berlin.
