OnePlus 7 Pro review

OnePlus has launched its new smartphone in the market called 7 Pro. The device comes with a bezel-less notch-less display, Snapdragon 855 Soc, triple camera array, and 4,000 battery life, it is a power-packed Android smartphone.
But, is it the best Android smartphone in the market? Let's check it out in the OnePlus 7 Pro review below:

Design and Display

The OnePlus 7 Pro comes with curved edges like Samsung S10 Plus and it is the design that all desired to have in 2019 smartphones. No punch-hole camera or water drop notch, the front looks bigger and sailing fluid smooth. The bezels are not even in the scene anywhere except the chin in the bottom.  The device has a glass build that feels comfortable and premium in hands. There is an on-screen fingerprint sensor in the device which is way faster than the 6T- one of the fastest in-screen fingerprint sensors in the market. OnePlus 7 Pro comes in two color variants: Mirror Gray and Nebula Blue. The company is also looking to bring golden Almond color in the market. OnePlus 7 Pro lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack and hasn't added wireless charging too. The device is not IP-certified water-resistant but can stand in water for 15 minutes. You can buy this phone online using Croma Offers with great deals.

Coming to display, OnePlus 7 Pro packs a 6.67-inch true all-screen display with HDR10+ with the 90Hz refresh rate. OnePlus 7 Pro has the best display in the market, period! There is no notch on the display- not even water drop notch- which makes the smooth and offers fluid gaming plus movie watching experience. There is no notch as the front camera is adjusted into pop up one. OnePlus 7 Pro looks beautifully smooth and gives the premium feel. Movie watching experience or gaming experience will be awesome on this device. Even simply scrolling the web can give you a lot of difference from the 60Hz refresh rate screens.

Performance

Under the hood, OnePlus 7 Pro has an octa-core Snapdragon 855 chipset which can be coupled up to 12GB of RAM. Although 8GB of RAM would be enough to serve all your purpose. With such a powerful chipset under the hood, you will get to do everything- from heavy tasking, multi-tasking to high-end intense gaming. As OnePlus says for this device "Go beyond speed," this is what you can see in the device's performance. Also, this is the first phone in the world with UFS 3.0 read/write speeds. Gaming experience in this device is fluid smooth. The device doesn't warm up in intense long gaming sessions- all thanks to the 10-layer liquid cooling system underneath the hood.

Battery Life

OnePlus 7 Pro comes with a 4,000 mAh battery life which can easily give you a full day of normal usage. Comparing it to the 6T, it is fairly larger. The device gets the Warp Charge 30 charger which can charge up to 90 percent in an hour. In 15 minutes of charge, the device can charge up to 35 percent. WarpCharge 30 is faster than Adaptive Fast Charge of Samsung which is not to go unnoticed. No wireless charging in this device is something we still can't over of. But, whatever OnePlus offers, it is pure gold!

Software

OnePlus 7 Pro runs Android 9 Pie out of the box with Oxygen OS on top of it.  Yes, it is not a stock Android device but Oxygen OS has a lot to offer. It is one of the best-customized version of Android in the market- which is fast, looks good and has a nice set of features. OnePlus 7 Pro feels very close to stock Android device with some extra software to use.

Camera

OnePlus 7 Pro has triple camera setup including a 48MP primary camera, a 16MP ultra-wide lens and 8MP telephoto lens for 3x optical zoom. Comparing to its predecessors, this device's camera is a huge improvement- very close to being the best camera phone. The device has Night Sight mode which offers some great pics in night light without any muddy looks. For selfies, OnePlus has opted for the pop-up camera which is the best pop-up camera in the market. The camera comes out fast from the hood and motors don't even make that itchy noise while popping it out. The selfie camera is a 16MP lens that is capable of taking some great photos but not like Samsung Galaxy S10. Still, it has one of the best camera setups in the market. In terms of camera performance, various options available in the market and one can buy those using Mobikwik Offers with discounted prices.

Final Verdict

OnePlus 7 Pro is the best Android smartphone of 2019- hands down! We can argue by bringing Samsung Galaxy S10 or S10 Plus in the picture. But, look at the price point OnePlus 7 Pro comes at. At this price tag, you are getting Snapdragon 855, notch-less display, triple camera array, and 4,000mAh battery life. With the best display in the market and the fastest in-fingerprint sensor, there is nothing to beat this device. Yes, it lacks wireless charging and the motorized camera can't be trusted much- will it work like new in future or not after 6 months probably? But, if you are looking to go beyond speed, there is not even a uno phone which can beat this device overall. OnePlus 7 Pro is titanium if you are considering to buy an Android flagship!
